I got a seriously cool Christmas present from my folks this year – a M3D Micro+ 3D printer! Now rather than download a bunch of random models to try and print I decided that I was going to make my own. I also wanted the stuff I printed to be useful and not just printing for the sake of printing (which is tempting heh) so I have not gone nuts printing random junk. Bonus the filament is lasting much longer than I thought it would.
OK ok on to the THINGIMADE – I love these Newman’s Own Organic Mints and I have dozens of the empty tins. Look at this thing this is way to cool to throw out! So I jumped on TinkerCAD ( TinkerCAD is free and super easy )and made a little divider tray to turn the little tin into a handy pill box for emergencies.
How awesome is that! I just anchored the dividers with a drop of glue but that is totally optional as the divider frame snaps under the lip of the tin so is not going to just fall out. Here is what the model looks like…
So if you are a Newman’s Own mint addict too you can make your own pill box by printing this file – Greg’s Mint Tin Dividers
Thanks for reading and let me know if you find the 3D model useful! I will be posting more of these as I come up with them!
